ALAJIN – TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all orders placed with Alajin through our website, app, social commerce, or any other sales channel. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.
1) Scope & acceptance
- These Terms govern the sale of products by Alajin to you.
- Any customer terms (including purchase conditions) are not applicable unless Alajin has expressly accepted them in writing.
2) Product information
- We aim to display product descriptions, images, sizes, colors, and pricing accurately. However, minor variations may occur due to photography, lighting, device settings, or manufacturing batches.
- Availability is subject to stock. Adding an item to cart does not reserve it.
3) Prices & taxes
- Prices are shown in INR and are inclusive/exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g., GST) as indicated at checkout/invoice.
- Delivery/shipping charges (if any) are displayed at checkout and added to the total payable amount.
- If a pricing/typographical error occurs, Alajin may cancel the order and refund any amount received.
4) Orders & confirmation
- Your order is considered accepted only when Alajin issues an order confirmation and/or ships the product.
- We may cancel or limit quantities per order due to suspected fraud, address issues, stock unavailability, or compliance requirements. If we cancel after payment, we will process a refund.
5) Payments
- Payments can be made using the payment methods available at checkout (e.g., UPI, cards, net banking, etc.).
- For Cash on Delivery (COD) (if offered), you must pay the full amount at delivery; refusal may result in order cancellation and account restrictions.
- If your payment is declined or reversed, the order may be placed on hold or cancelled.
6) Shipping, delivery & risk
- Estimated delivery timelines are shared at checkout/order confirmation and are indicative. Delays may occur due to logistics, weather, strikes, regulatory checks, or other factors beyond our control.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the address provided (or upon handover to your authorized recipient).
- You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and reachable contact details.
7) Inspection, returns & refunds
- Please inspect your order upon delivery. If the package appears tampered or damaged, you should refuse delivery or record the issue with the courier (where possible) and contact us immediately.
- Returns/exchanges/refunds are governed by Alajin’s Return & Refund Policy published on our website (and may vary by product category, hygiene items, clearance items, etc.).
- If a return is approved, refunds (where applicable) are processed to the original payment method within a reasonable time after quality checks and receipt of the returned item(s).
- Shipping or COD charges may be non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly stated in the Return & Refund Policy.
8) Cancellations
- You may request cancellation only before dispatch (as per the cancellation option/status shown in your account/order page).
- Once shipped, cancellation may not be possible; you may need to follow the return process (if eligible).
9) Warranty & quality
- Products are sold with standard manufacturer/brand warranties (if applicable). Unless explicitly stated, Alajin does not provide additional warranties beyond what is required by law.
- To the maximum extent permitted by law, all implied warranties are limited as per applicable statutes.
10) Limitation of liability
- Alajin will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of business, or loss of goodwill.
- Alajin’s total liability for any claim related to an order will not exceed the amount paid by you for the product(s) giving rise to the claim.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
11) Force majeure
Alajin is not responsible for failure or delay in performance due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, governmental actions, strikes, supply chain disruptions, internet/payment failures, or courier/logistics interruptions.
12) Withholding taxes & statutory deductions (where applicable)
If any withholding or statutory deduction is required under applicable law, you remain responsible for ensuring compliance. Where deductions are made, you must provide the relevant proof/certificates as required. Alajin will invoice/receive the amount due as per applicable law and documentation.
13) Intellectual property
All website/app content including logos, product photos, design elements, text, and branding are the intellectual property of Alajin (or its licensors). You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without prior written permission.
14) Customer conduct & misuse
We may suspend or restrict access to our services for suspected fraud, abusive behavior, repeated COD refusals, misuse of return policies, or any unlawful activity.

16) Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed exclusively by the laws of India. Courts having jurisdiction over Uttar Pradesh, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction, unless otherwise required by applicable law.
17) Changes to these Terms
Alajin may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms applicable to you are those in effect on the date you place your order.
